Mission sites inThunder Bay

Welcome to the St. Luke Presbyterian church senior high mission trip blog!!! Yup..we're going to Thunder Bay, Ontario and we're going to be actually doing something different than we've ever done before. We are supposed to be the "hands and feet of Christ" the week we're in Thunder Bay. Here are some of the mission sites we will be working at: An Eagle's Cry - http://www.aneaglescry.org/ This place is an aborigine center which helps some of the native peoples of Ontario. Clothing Assistant Mission - This is a thrift store where we can help sort donations Evergreen, A United Neighborhood - http://www.anccommunity.ca/thunderb.html We can help with neighborhood beautification projects. Pinewood Court - We can volunteer with the elderly residents here. Shelter House - http://www.shelterhouse.on.ca/ This is a homeless shelter where we can help with various tasks to keep this shelter running smoothly. Kids Club - http://www.youthworks.com/trips/faqkids.asp We get to demonstrate the love of Jesus to children through all sorts of activities.
